My Review for "Morganville Vampire" Volume 2

The Morganville Vampires: Volume 2 (The Morganville Vampires, #3-4)The Morganville Vampires: Volume 2 by Rachel Caine
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This volume contains books number 3-4 from the Morganville Vampire series.

'Midnight Alley'Claire is owned by the founder of the city ( oldest vampire Amelie) so she can keep her friends from becoming meals for the vampires. This does not mean that the problems are over, no she has to work with the most dangerous vampire in town Mirnyn, because she needs to find a cure to save all the vampires from loosing their mind. Mirnyn is very sick he has a clear mind only a limited time, in this time Claire has to speed up the time of learning alchemy by putting herself in danger from taking the red particles. Claire find out how sick the vampire are when Mirnyn gets "transferred" in a prison where all the the other sick once were hold not to harm the humans. Unfortunately the bars from the cell were not strong enough for Mirnyn when he was not in the right state of mind and it was hungry also. Claire had to work with him and fight for her life that time.
He will always say to her never to trust him (she sees that with her out eyes, but i guess she like looking for trouble).

'Feast Of Fools' in this book Claire and her friends find out that Amelie is not the oldest vampire, Bishop is her father, which had caned into Morganville to get revenge on his daughter for stealing his book. He takes Claire and her friends under his control, messing with their heads.Everyone realizes that Bishop can be very dangerous when Amelie and Olive work together to save Morganville (i didn't see that coming. However this series how we know from the previous books is about the love between Claire and Shane, which it get a lot more steamer(THEY Both STOP WHY). However in this book Claire is jealous because one of Bishop vampire pet Ysandre wants Shane and she shows that right in Claires face (Shane try to escape but the vampire b. uses her powers to overwhelm him and to obey her with no will).

This is an incredible book will keep you reading from the beginning to the end whiteout wanting to sleep. There are so many things happening that will not even thing about.
