The Demon's Desire by Kendra Leigh Castle
Hearts of the Fallen #2

He’s as dark and dangerous as the storms he once commanded…and she can’t get him out of her heart.

Dru has spent two thousand years fighting to keep the people of Terra Noctem safe. In all that time, she's only opened her heart to one man, with disastrous results. But when her city takes in a group of renegade Fallen, she finds herself drawn to the brooding and tormented Meresin, despite the fact that he seems to be the least redeemable of them all. When his instability hits a breaking point, Meresin’s only chance at survival is a perilous journey into a place from which few ever return. What he never expected was that confronting his demons would mean risking not only his future, but Dru's as well...and that one stubborn vampire might give him back not just hope…but his heart.

About Abby:

Ever since Abby Niles picked up her first Sweet Valley High book in sixth grade and fell in love with Elizabeth and Todd, she’s been hooked on romance. By the time she reached high school, she was devouring meatier romances with pirates, cowboys and knights. She never imagined that those years of reading would one day lead to her becoming a published author.

In her late twenties, after having twins and becoming a stay-at-home mom, she started doodling stories to keep her sanity. Next thing she knew, she was actually submitting to publishing houses. And was immediately rejected. That didn’t stop her though. She found herself some kickass critique partners, honed her craft, and continued submitting.

And eventually sold a short story, then a novella, then a novel, and now a series.

Today, she juggles work, home life, and writing. It’s not always easy, but hey, who said life was easy?

In her downtime, which isn’t often, you can find her playing ‘Just Dance’ with her kids or trying to catch up on her never-ending to-be-read list. She also loves Zumba, and refuses to admit she looks more like Animal doing his Muppet flail than a sensual Latin dancer.

About Kendra:

Kendra Leigh Castle was born and raised in the far and frozen reaches of Northern New York, where there was plenty of time to cultivate her love of reading thanks to the six-month-long winters. Sneaking off with selections from her mother’s vast collection of romance novels came naturally and fairly early, and a lifelong love of the Happily Ever After was born. After graduating from SUNY Oswego (where it also snowed a lot) with a teaching degree, Kendra ran off with a handsome young Navy fighter pilot and has somehow accumulated three children, three dogs, and one enormous cat during their many moves.

While stationed in a remote corner of the Nevada desert, Kendra penned her first romance, and a career often spent working in fuzzy slippers and pajamas was born. Her work has garnered both critical praise and award nominations, but the best part has been connecting with readers who share her love of dark romance (not to mention heroes with sharp, pointed teeth). Kendra currently lives in Maryland, and can usually be found curled up with her laptop and yet another cup of coffee working on her next book. She loves to hear from her readers, and can be contacted via email or her Facebook page.

My review for "City of Glass" book 3

City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments, #3)City of Glass by Cassandra Clare

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

City of Glass is the 3rd book of the series The Mortal Instruments, that gets a 5 out of 5 starts for the content and the content. This is the best book so far for me out of all 3 books.
Clary will fight with her life everyone that will try to stop her from finding the cure for her mother, but while she search for it finds a lot more things about her family past. This book has everything, if you liked Twilight, Hush Hush, well this one has everything they have and work perfectly.
This book will answer most of your questions about Clary and Jace past, what has Valentin did, and if he will get his way or not. Also we will finally find out the real truth about Valentin, why is Clary so powerful, and the true power of Jace. Valentin rage put in danger everyone Shadowhunter if they do not join him and follow his rules. The final battle will happen in the heart of the City of Glass (the place where all the Shadowhunters were born, and the council lived). A new character will be introduce that will get under everyone skin, and try to turn them against each other, he will be Valentin real weapon (nobody will expect what will come). All of the things that will happen (first attack of Valentin on the city) will give nephilim no choice then to work together with the Luke, his pack, and vampires (they will need help from everyone no matter who, as long as they are not spies of Valentin).
Is a must read book, the whole series of The Mortal Instruments is amazing, after watching the movie i came home and start reading the books, have read all first 3 books in 3 days, slept like 2 hours. Is a book that you can not put it down, will take you on an amazing journey, that you will not want to leave. Never have ever read a book to make me feel like i am actually apart of it, while reading picturing everything and making me jump of every scary part.

My review for "City of Ashes" book 2

City of Ashes (The Mortal Instruments, #2)City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Have to give a 5 out of 5 stars, the content and cover work perfectly together and i love how the cover looks. City of Ashes is the 2nd book from the series Mortal Instruments.
Clary starts getting used with her new life as a Shadowhunter, but she struggles with her mom in coma after drinking a magical potion, and Jace that might or might not be her brother (what can you expect from Valentin). Now to fight the feeling she has for Jace she is starting (trying) a new relationship with Simon, and Simon is trying to deal with the fact he is a Vampire now.
Few new characters that they get under your skin in this book. While reading this book you will find yourself "trapped" in the adventures, and makes you question also if Jace and Clary are or not related (so while readding you will ask yourself should i dislike their relationship or like it because nobody should trust Valentin). Some truth will come out, and some will be told with a twist...
Must read book, you have to find out what is Valentin plan, and what is he doing to Jace, why is everyone blaming him for everything bad that happens. Also find out how powerful Clary is that surprises even Valentin and Luke.

My Review for "No More Goddesses"

No More GoddessesNo More Goddesses by Kim Baccellia

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Love the books that tease me with what could happen and then everything changes. What i love about this book is the mystery and the unknown, very exiting book. Giving the book an overall 3 out 5 stars. The book has a little bit of everything in the story, and the adventure that carries us through they are very good.
The whole plot is build-ed around Jordan that loved old movies, that's why loved to go all the time around the grandma's house. Everything starts when Jordan goes at her grandmother place and looks in some old boxes for something to "kill" the time. In one of the boxes finds a bracelet that will make some secrets coming out (finding out for the first time her grandma had a sister).
If you like the Lord of the Ring books and movie you will just love this one, the only difference in here is about the bracelet had the powers that the ring has. After the time passes finds out that the bracelet used to belong to a goddess, which slowly was destroying the people she care about. Her life changed since she had put that bracelet on them.
