My Review "Ignite Me" book 3

Ignite Me (Shatter Me, #3)Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love this book, is my favorite out of all of them. "Ignite Juliette" Warner says to her when she finally decides to fight on his side, which his side is to destroy The Reestablishment. His love for her pushes his pride away and takes under his wing even her friends, well whats left of them after the last battle. Her change of character is because she almost dies and realizes that she has never done anything in her life. Everything she done was pleasing everyone, and forgetting to let herself have a life.

Adams is a change person too, she hurts Juliette by saying "It was better when he thought she was dead" and that he never wants to see her ever again. Unfortunately he sees that he has no choice then to accept Warner's help for the well being of his little brother James.

Juliette finally can touch whomever she wants because she managed to control her power, to only use it when is need it. She will be the one that will plan everything against Warner's,Adam's and James dad. Her powers are so big that she can provoke an earthquake without touching the earth. Also she realizes that the love she has for her friends and Warner fuels her powers to unlimited boundaries. That's why they all agree that she should be the one to kill The Supreme One (the boys father). This will be the battle that will kill her or help her take over the country and after make everyone understand that The Reestablishment is only hurting the people and the earth not helping in any way.

My Review "Unravel Me" book 2

Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2)Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Finally Adam and Juliette find a refuge from The Reestablishment at the Omega Point, where they find out she is not the only one with supernatural powers. She also finds out why Adam is the only (at least that's what everyone thinks, because she is afraid of her discovery) one he can touch her. Soon she is forced to push him away because of the accident that almost kills him.

After the first battle with The Reestablishment they get Warner hostage, which complicates everything when he tells everyone he can touch Juliette with no problem. Also that he is in love with her. Juliette finds herself into internal battle between what she feels for Adam and what she feels for Warner.

Juliette powers are stronger then everyone could ever imagine, which makes her believe that maybe Warner is right, she is a monster, that no matter on who's side she fights she is just a deadly weapon. They soon discover why Warner can touch her and what else could he do, what terrifies even him. After so long for Warner be at the Omega Point Juliette seas a better side of him and hopes that maybe now he will be on their side. Also she finds out that having a boy best friend will drive Adam and Warner crazy jealous, which she likes. Warner in the last minute leaves Omega Point right before a big battle what makes people wonder if they should retreat this time, because he could tell his father their plans.

My Review for "Shatter Me" book 1

Shatter Me (Shatter Me, #1)Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Firstly i want to thank you my best friend for getting me addicted to a new amazing series. Love that the book is so different then all the fantasy, paranormal and YA books i read so far.

Love the cover of the book and i can say maybe for the first time, the title of the book is the story build up. Juliette is a teenage girl put into a mental institute because her parents didn't want to deal with her ability. She is alone for a few years until a boy is send to stay in the same room with her, which terrifies her. Anyone that would go in contact with her skin they get badly hurt, until she finds out that the boy (Adam)who has been with her in the institute (until they were taking out) that he is the only one he could touch her. Adam turns to be a childhood friend (the only friend) that has fallen in love with her and does anything possible to save her and make her happy. save her from The Reestablishmen that wants to transform her ability into a weapon, destroy everything she believes in.

While they run away from The Reestablishmen they find a place (rebellion organization)what gives them hope, maybe now they stop The Reestablishmen and have a normal life. Unfortunately their arrival puts in danger their relationship, because they find out why Adam can actually touch her.

Brand new story, with so much adventure, romance that will drive you mad to keep reading to find out what happens next.

About Laura:

Laura Howard lives in New Hampshire with her husband and four children. Her obsession with books began at the age of 6 when she got her first library card. Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High and other girly novels were routinely devoured in single sittings. Books took a backseat to diapers when she had her first child. It wasn’t until the release of a little novel called Twilight, 8 years later, that she rediscovered her love of fiction. Soon after, her own characters began to make themselves known.
